MINISTRY TO SENIORS

The PrimeTimers is a group of 55-and-older adults who get together for the purpose of mutual edification and outreach. Some of the regular events have included:

  • a Valentine's Dinner in February
  • Day trips to places like Skagit Valley Gardens in Mount Vernon, the Appel Cheese Farm in Bellingham, and the fishing village at Steveston, BC.
  • the Fall Conference in October at Cedar Springs Christian Retreat Center
  • a Christmas Banquet in December

The Primetimers also meet at Dutch Mothers Restaurant in Lynden for breakfast at 8:30 on the first Saturday morning of the month.

For more information about the PrimeTimers and their activities, contact Don and Addy VandenBerg through the church office, 354-4321.

PHILOSOPHY OF MISSIONS

Living out the Great Commission is a high priority at Grace Baptist Fellowship, and we are committed to supporting the dissemination of the Gospel message throughout the world.

Why Missions?

  • To fulfill the Great Commission of Christ (Mt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Jn. 20:21, Luke 24:46-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 26:16-18)
  • To share Christ’s heart for the world (John 3:16, Mt. 9:36-38, Mt. 18:10-14)
  • To minister to the totality of human need (Mt. 10:42, Mt. 25:31-46, Luke 16:19-31)
  • To save men and bring them to the knowledge of God (Rom. 10:13-15, I Cor. 9:19-23, Jude 22-23)
  • To obey Christ by confessing Him to the world (Mt. 10:32-33, Mt. 25:41-46, I John 4:2-3)
